Team coaching facilitation (2hrs)
The SUCCESS DNA methodology is based on Alain’s book called ‘Success DNA” and has been applied in multiple organizations to spread existing excellence within teams.
Each participant will receive a pdf copy of the book called “Success DNA”
Preparation: What is your Success DNA?
- How and when do you operate at your best?
What makes you extraordinary / unique? How do you do it so well?
What is your unique way to work effortlessly?
Ask your partner, your children, your friends, your colleagues and…yourself.
- Find a picture of yourself when you were less than 5 years old. Ask your parents what type of little boy/girl was this child?
- How could you teach it to someone else?
The process is to multiply talents in teams to increase performances by sharing the implicit and impactful questions that prompt them to act at their best.
The success DNA process
By coaching online top performers, to discover their implicit winning beliefs. We then embed these winning beliefs into belief questions using the proprietary application called “My5Questions”.
Example of belief-questions to deliver are:
- Am I doing my best here?
- Am I waking my talk?
- Am I making others accountable? Etc.…
Through an online meeting we help teams to exchange and embed their winning belief questions to boost their own performances.
Outcomes
- Create high performance teams by sharing and leveraging their existing talents.
- Build a “talent culture” where talents are exchanged as a new currency within the organization.
- Boost existing mentoring programs by transferring also the mentor’ success DNA.
- Coach from strength rather than from weakness.
- Retain graduates longer by providing them with a “talent personal development plan”.

Alain Willem holds two engineering degrees and is a specialist in nuclear power. He is also a yoga teacher, a Biodanza facilitator, a certified executive coach and coach supervisor. Alain has over 20 years’ experience of coaching both in RSA and internationally. He has written 3 books and integrates executive coaching with life coaching at a deep level. Alain excels in activating the extra-ordinary qualities in successful executives and assists them in making those talents work for their teams. He offers mental fitness as a foundational program that generates lasting new habits, not just coaching’s insights.

As an analogy, just think of “Perfume” the movie based on the novel written by P. Suskind.
It’s set in 18thC France with a man who is born with the most incredible sense of smell. He spends his life obsesses with smell. He works for a perfume company and learns how to extract the scents from flowers and make essential oils etc. But this becomes frustrating for him because it doesn’t teach him how to extract the smell from other things such as stones or metal or water etc. He teaches himself how to bottle these scents and he uses them to blend his own perfumes to make the wearer more powerful or … alluring… or … deceiving.
And then… he smells a WOMAN. And he NEEDS to bottle her scent. He devises a plan and he murders her and scrapes the scent from her skin to extract it.
And so, the story goes on…
But Alain as found a unique way to help organizations to extract the essence of talented stars … without having to kill them!
